  9. The game MUST be installed into a directory/sub directory called 'ROGUE'!
  10.  
  11. Load 'regedit.exe'(in your windows directory). Hit F3 (Find) in regedit and type in 'source dir'.
  12. Eventually you will find something like this (if not, Press F3 again)

  14. Rogue Squadron\V1.0\ <-- the folder that regedit turns up...

  17. "CD Path          G:"        <-- G is my CD-Rom  !!MUST NOT BE THE SAME LETTER AS INSTALL PATH!!

  19. "Install Path     C:\Program Files\LucasArts\ROGUE"
  20. "Source Dir       G:\Rogue\" <-- edit this one

  23. Right click 'Source Dir', select modify and enter your install path/directory,
  24.  
  25. "Source Dir       C:\Program Files\LucasArts\"  <-- Drive & directory where 'ROGUE' is located
  26.                                                   - the slash '\' on the end is needed!

  28. Close Regedit (it saves your alterations automatically).
  29. Copy off the CD 'rogue\data\bundle.000' & 'rogue\data\bundle.001' into 'rogue/data' on your hard
  30. drive.

  35. Run the crack 'FiX_rs3d.com' in your game directory, it patches both executables, run the game...
  36. If you did something wrong, the game should load, music will play, but the screen will be black
  37. and you cant do anything. ReDo the Regedit, checking you entered the 'Source Dir' correctly.

  39. e.g. I installed the game to    'd:\games\starwars\rogue'
  40. so i change the 'Source Dir' to 'd:\games\starwars\' <-- in regedit (dont forget the '\' on the end)

  42. and i copy 'bundle.000' & 'bundle.001' into 'd:\games\starwars\rogue\data'
